Log in to cPanel.

Click the File Manager icon under the Files section.

Locate the compressed file you wish to extract.

You can either click Extract from the top toolbar or right-click on the file and select Extract.

A popup will appear asking for the directory path where you want to extract the files.

• Example: /public_html/backup/

Click Extract File(s).

Once extraction is complete, you’ll see a confirmation window showing the extracted files.
