Summary:-
Standard passwords, no matter how strong, can sometimes be compromised. Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) adds a vital second layer of security to your Thamara account. Once enabled, you will need both your password and a time-sensitive code generated by an app on your smartphone (like Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator) to log in.
Steps to Enable 2FA:
Log in to your cPanel.
Scroll down to the Security section and click on Two-Factor Authentication.
Click the Set Up Two-Factor Authentication button.
Open your preferred authenticator app on your phone.
Scan the QR code displayed on the screen or manually enter the provided key.
Enter the 6-digit security code generated by your app into the "Security Code" box in cPanel.
Click Configure Two-Factor Authentication to finish.
Tip for Thamara Users:
Don't get locked out! After setting up 2FA, we strongly recommend generating and saving your "Emergency Backup Codes." If you lose your phone or the app is deleted, these codes will be the only way to access your account without contacting our support team.
