How to Check and Run AutoSSL for Your Domain

Summary:-

At Thamara Cloud, we provide free SSL certificates for all hosted domains through the AutoSSL feature. Usually, the system renews these certificates automatically. However, there are times when you might need to check the status of your SSL or manually trigger a renewal—for example, right after connecting a new domain or if a certificate has expired.

Steps to Check and Run AutoSSL:

  1. Log in to your cPanel.

  2. Navigate to the Security section and click on SSL/TLS Status.

  3. On this page, you will see a list of your domains and their current SSL status:

    • Green Lock: The domain is secure and the certificate is valid.

    • Red Lock: The domain is not secure or the certificate is expired.

  4. To renew or install a certificate, select the checkbox next to the specific domains.

  5. Click the Run AutoSSL button at the top of the page.

  6. The process will run in the background. Once completed, the page will refresh and the locks should turn green.

Tip for Thamara Users:

For AutoSSL to work correctly, your domain must be fully pointed to our servers (DNS Propagation complete). If you click "Run AutoSSL" and it fails, double-check that your domain's Name Servers are correctly set to Thamara's servers.
