Summary:-
Keeping your website clean from malicious code is crucial for your site’s reputation and performance. At Thamara, we provide advanced security tools (such as Imunify360) to automatically detect and clean threats. However, you can also perform manual scans to ensure that all your files, especially after installing new plugins or themes, are safe and free from vulnerabilities.
Steps to Scan Your Website:
Log in to your cPanel.
Scroll down to the Security section and click on Imunify360 (or Malware Scanner).
Once the dashboard opens, click on the Files tab to see the current clean or infected files.
To start a new scan, click the Scan button (usually represented by a magnifying glass icon).
Wait for the process to complete.
If any threats are found, you can view the report and choose to quarantine or clean the infected files.
Tip for Thamara Users:
Prevention is better than cure. Most malware infections occur due to outdated WordPress themes or plugins. We highly recommend keeping all your site’s components updated and deleting any unused plugins to minimize the risk of being targeted by hackers.
