How to Delete Files or Folders Using File Manager in cPanel

Step 1: Log in to cPanel

1. Go to your cPanel login page (example: yourdomain.com/cpanel), Enter your username and password.
   
   

Step 2: Open File Manager

1. Scroll to the Files section, Click File Manager.
   
   

Step 3: Select the File or Folder

1. Navigate to the directory containing the file or folder.
   
   
2. Click once on the file or folder you want to delete.

---> To select multiple items:

• Hold Shift (for consecutive items) or Ctrl/Cmd (for multiple individual items).
  
  

Step 4: Click Delete

1. From the top toolbar, click Delete, A Trash window will appear confirming the deletion.
   
   

Step 5: Confirm Deletion

• Click Trash File(s) to move the selected items to the Trash.
  
  
• The file or folder is now safely in the Trash folder, not permanently gone yet.
