Configuring cPHulk Brute Force Protection

Summary: cPHulk prevents attackers from guessing your passwords by blocking IP addresses that have too many failed login attempts.

Advice for Thamara Users: This is your primary defense against automated "Bot" attacks. Ensure you whitelist your home/office IP to avoid accidentally locking yourself out.

Steps:

  1. Go to Security Center -> cPHulk Brute Force Protection.

  2. Toggle the switch to On.

  3. Under Configuration Settings, set the threshold (e.g., 5 failed attempts).

  4. Use Whitelist Management to add your trusted IPs.

  5. Click Save.
