What’s the difference between Registrar Lock and Registry Lock?

  • Registrar Lock: Set by your registrar to prevent unauthorized transfers. You can unlock it yourself.

  • Registry Lock: A higher-level lock applied by the domain registry. It requires manual verification to disable and is not available for all TLDs.
