Restarting Mail Services on VPS & Dedicated Hosting

• Log in to WHM

  ◦ Go to https://yourdomain.com/whm or https://yourdomain.com:2087

  ◦ Enter your root username and password

  ◦ Click Log In
  
  
  

• Restart the Mail Server (Exim)

  ◦ From the list, click Mail Server (Exim).

  ◦ You'll see a confirmation prompt — click Yes to restart.

  ◦Wait a few moments while the service restarts, Once complete, your mail delivery system will be back online.
  
  

• Confirm and Restart

  ◦ You'll see a confirmation prompt — click Yes to restart.

  ◦Wait a few moments while the service restarts, Once complete, your mail delivery system will be back online.
  
  
  

   

• Restart the IMAP Server
  To ensure all mail-related services are refreshed:

   

  ◦ Go back to the Restart Services section.

  ◦ click IMAP Server (Dovecot).

  ◦ Confirm by clicking Yes to restart. Wait for the restart process to finish — this restores access for incoming emails.
